Dr. Alan Wagner

Alan S. Wagner obtained his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1989 from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He then completed Medical School, also at University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and received the Tau Beta Pi Scholarship and Joseph Henderson Scholarship. He developed prototype surface coils for MR angiography and was responsible for design, construction and testing of the coils. Dr. Wagner then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Penn State Geisinger in Danville, PA where he was Chief Resident from 1997-1998. He performed his fellowship training in Body Imaging also at Penn State Geisinger.

Following his fellowship training, Dr. Wagner joined the Berwick Hospital in Berwick, PA as a Radiologist, performing interpretation for all imaging modalities, including nuclear medicine. He then joined Camelot Radiology in Rockford, IL in 1999, providing diagnostic interpretation for all aspects of diagnostic imaging including radiography, nuclear medicine, angiography and interventional radiology.
